CBT is medically supervised and may be part of a comprehensive drug treatment programme. It may be prescribed in the presence of dangerous withdrawal symptoms such as severe pain, nausea, vomiting, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CBT can also serve as a first step in drug treatment, preparing the patient for a longer rehabilitation programme that includes psychotherapy and psychological support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CBT is not a substitute for full treatment and does not help to get rid of drug addiction. It is only the first step on the road to recovery. Without further comprehensive therapy, there is no hope of recovery.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When is CBT prescribed? The main purpose of the procedure is the emergency elimination of toxins from the body and withdrawal symptoms. The method is used under anaesthesia, which minimises the negative effects of toxins on the body. DEA is prescribed when a high concentration of opiates is detected in the patient&#8217;s body.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"principles_of_drug_intoxication_treatment_for_drug_intoxication\"><\/span>Principles of drug intoxication treatment for drug intoxication<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The detoxification procedure should be carried out under strict medical supervision of specialists, including anaesthetists and anaesthetists. This approach allows for reliable control of the detoxification process and prevents possible complications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Opioid antagonists such as naloxone or naltrexone are used for DEA. These drugs block the effects of opioids in the body and relieve physical dependence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Medical support, including symptomatic treatment to reduce possible withdrawal symptoms such as pain, nausea and diarrhoea, is provided to the patient during UTDS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The procedure is carried out in specialised clinics or medical facilities with the necessary equipment and medical staff to ensure the safety of the patient. The whole detoxification process takes 6-8 hours, after which the patient&#8217;s condition stabilises. But this state of stability will not last long without further treatment. Detoxification does not make sense if the patient refuses to undergo full-fledged therapy and get rid of addiction. Withdrawal of toxins from the body quickly and painlessly and prolong the duration of drug blockers.
